Description :	Le cercle répétiteur permet de répéter plusieurs fois la même observation sur le cercle sans revenir au zéro : ainsi les erreurs de lecture et de graduation du limbe sont divisées par le nombre d'observations. Le cercle porte deux lunettes qui servent aux visées simultanées sur chaque point dont on prend la distance angulaire. Les deux lunettes passent par le centre du cercle de lecture. Le cercle, gradué en degrés, est muni d'un niveau à bulle. Une rotule permettait de le fixer sur un pied.
